Here is what you should learn during a full course. Each school as its own schedule. Ask the school Instructor for their specific course and learning materials.
  1. Weather - When to kite and when to go home. (Knowing your limits)
  2. Equipment set up - Rigging your equipment the right way the first time.
  3. Safety features and quick releases - If it's you or the kite, make it the kite.
  4. Launch & Landings - Understanding the kite at launch time.
  5. The window - Keeping your kite in the correct window space will give you a smooth ride.
  6. Power stroke - A clean power stroke is the key to Constant power.
  7. Getting Dragged in the water - Splish, splash..
  8. Relauching the kite in the water - It's not if but rather when, you will drop your kite.
  9. Getting up on the Board - Putting it all together.
  10. Packing and Maintenance - Keep your equipment dry and clean for a longer life.
